Fighting for the Long Distance relationship
I am sure that we are not the only couple trying to cope with a long-distance relationship. I love to say that it is easy, but it is not. Staying in touch and making it work over long distances is not easy at all, and there are days when I think it is all going to fall apart.
Ever since my boyfriend and I bought an old house together, we have had to work even more challenging. It is not only the mortgage that needs payment, but there are all of the repair bills. When I am not at Barbican escorts, I seem to be forever running around doing things to the place. This week we had new bathrooms installed everywhere, and that was challenging work. I could not use the water all week, so I went back to stay with my mom. That was okay, but at the same time, I experienced it as hard work.
The house has three floors, and next week my Barbican escorts like https://charlotteaction.org/barbican-escorts paycheck will go towards replacing one of the staircases in the house. It is going to look great when it’s finished, but it costs a fortune. We need to focus on getting the house done, but I think it affects our relationship. It feels a bit more like we are partners in a home than in love. Perhaps it is just a phase that will pass, but I do find it is rather tiring.
As soon as I come home from Barbican escorts, I am on Facetime with my boyfriend. He insists on me giving him an update on what is going with the house every day. I am not complaining, but I feel that I am doing two jobs here. On many occasions, it feels like I am project managing the house and, at the same time, trying to keep our relationship alive. I am not pointing the finger or blaming anybody; it is just a fact of life, and it needs doing, but it is stressful. There are times when I wished that we had stayed in our old flat, and lived happily ever after.
I think that my boyfriend is getting a taste for doing up old houses. He says when this project has finished, we should move on and do another one. I don’t mind, but it would have to mean giving up my job at Barbican escorts. I am not sure that I would be able to manage to do both again. He will be home in a couple of weeks, and a lot of work needs doing will have been completed by then. After that, all we need to do is to paint the place and consider selling it. The agents say that we could make a tidy profit on selling the house. Perhaps I will become a real estate developer.
